Due to this, we have come up with a variety of different ways for students to finance their education investment. To fully understand these options, it is recommended you book an appointment with one of our financial experts so that they can customise a financial solution to your unique situation.

Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP)

Second Career

Second Career is a retraining program that is offered to a select few applicants who qualify for Employment Insurance (EI) benefits. The program is administered by Employment Ontario and the Ministry of Training, Colleges and Universities.

Student Line of Credit

Most major banks and credit unions offer student lines of credit to finance post-secondary education. Visit your financial institution to find out more information.

Lifelong Learning Plan

The Canada Revenue Agency Lifelong Learning Plan (LLP) allows you to withdraw from your RRSP’s to finance your education for you or your spouse (or common-law partner). You may withdraw up to $10,000 per year, and up to a maximum of $20,000.

Employer or Union Sponsored

Some employers and unions offer training programs for their employees and families. Check with your employer or parents employers to find out if they offer education assistance or tuition reimbursement programs.

Payment Plans

Sunview College offers affordable payments options to students who are looking to fund their own education.

Scholarships

Some scholarships are available to students who qualify.
